If you want to buy a coffee truck in Estonia, focus on three things from day one: a compliant build, winter-ready power/water, and locations you can actually trade. Budget €25k–€90k: €15k–€40k for a used van plus €10k–€50k fit-out; new turn-key builds run €60k–€120k with 8–12 week lead times. Choose an EU-homologated van under 3.5 t (B-category), demand a COC and gas/electrical certificates; if importing, register with Transpordiamet and pass inspection. Spec a 2‑group espresso (3–5 kW) fed by rotary pump and filtration (8–12 L/min), 80–120 L fresh water, 120–150 L grey, two sinks with 5–10 L boiler, stainless washable surfaces, and a floor you can squeegee. Power via 32 A CEE shore (preferred) or a quiet 6–8 kW inverter generator; fit LPG with leak detector, 6 kg ABC extinguisher, and fire blanket. Before trading: form an OÜ in the e‑Business Register, notify Põllumajandus‑ ja Toiduamet as a mobile food unit with a self‑check plan, get a public space permit from each municipality, and register for VAT at €40,000 turnover. Run cashless POS (SumUp/Zettle), keep hot‑water handwash in freezing weather (heat‑tape lines), and book markets and campuses (Telliskivi, Balti Jaam, Ülemiste). Target €2.8–€4.5 per drink and 80–150 cups/day in peak season.
